The private medical center SPORTMED s.r.o., operates in the Železničná Nemocnica Hospital (Novapharm, s.r.o.) in Bratislava. The facility uses the knowledge and experience of top professionals - doctors, who have many years of experience in sport medicine and other fields.

We are focusing on implementing preventive examinations, functional tests and diagnostics at the highest level. One major part of the main program is the neglected part in overall care of the athletes –sport traumatology. Our experienced doctors are specialized in traumatology (trauma surgery), and orthopedics.
We provide a whole range of arthroscopic and sport traumatology surgeries.
The department of rehabilitation focuses on individual exercising particularly post-traumatic cases and cases with spinal problems. After the examination our experienced staff - a doctor and physiotherapist, will set you the best suitable rehabilitation plan which will be fulfilled with you individually.
In the field of functional diagnosis and diagnosis of physical exercising, we have expanded our programme for testing people in wheelchairs - disabled paraplegics. We have requested to build a prototype of a testing facility for these disabled. In our offer we have also included the possibility for measuring basalmetabolism and a programme for weight reduction. According to the test results we prepare you a training programme and a nutrition plan.
Upon your registration, you are also entitled to use the services of a general practitioner. It takes just a few minutes to sign the contract. According to the law all the services are covered by your health insurance.
Based on agreement with us, we can provide medical support during sport events or even health care for individuals, sport clubs or national teams on an annual basis. Our well-equipped ambulance vehicle can ensure our patients transportation whenever requested.

All mentioned services are provided via direct payment with the option to order and arrange the meeting date, respectively the date of examination, at the most convenient time for you. If a diagnosis has been set, all costs of the treatment will be covered by your health insurance.
